Frequently Asked Questions

"Do you offer boarding / overnight stays?" - No, we do not have any facilities for overnight stays or boarding, we only offer Daycare.

"Are you open Weekends or Evenings?" - We currently only offer Daycare Monday to Friday. We open at 7.45am and close at 5.30pm.

"How many dogs do you have at the Daycare Centre each day?" - We are currently licenced for 18 dogs per day but the actual number of dogs per day varies with 18 being the maximum. Tuesday tends to be our busiest day.

"Do you take full male dogs?" - As a general rule, no. We do have a couple of full males that attend the Daycare centre but we have either known them since they were a puppy or they passed the trial day with flying colours. We are happy to discuss your dog with you and take it on a case by case basis.

Update 01/03/24: We are currently not taking in any more full male dogs, due to a recent influx of younger male dogs. we will look at the situation again, once these does have been neutered.

"Can you take puppies for Daycare?" - At the moment, we are not set up to take puppies under 12 months old. Puppies under 12 months old require a separate area, away from older dogs, and a dedicated member of staff to be with them at all times and we are currently unable to provide this. We will be looking to add this facility in the future.

"Will Daycare help with my dogs socialization problems?" - If your dog has socialization problems, then Daycare will probably only make things worse! A dog that is anxious around other dogs, will just become stressed and upset if suddenly put into a strange environment with lots of other dogs. Any socialization issues will need to be addressed through training or a behaviourist before your dog can attend Daycare.

"Can I drop my dog off tomorrow, just for one day?" - Unfortunately not. Before a dog can attend Daycare, we will need to do a Meet & Greet (so you and your dog can have a look around the Centre and see if you are happy with the facilities) and then your dog will need to do a Trial Day to make sure they are happy being at the Centre and get on well with the other dogs.

"Will my dog get a walk during the day?" - The Daycare Centre has a large main room and a large exercise yard, so there is plenty of room for the dogs to play and run around but we also have access to a secure Dog Walking Field, where the dogs are taken to give them a different environment to explore and play in.

"Do you provide food for my dog while they are attending Daycare?" - The Daycare price does not include food. If your dog requires a meal during the day and you wish to provide your own food, we are more than happy to feed them. We have a separate feeding area, so your dog will be able to eat in peace, away from the other dogs and we only feed one dog at a  time. We have our own range of Dog Food and if you would like us provide food for your dog from our range, this can be arranged at an additional cost.

"How do we pay you for the Daycare?" - We invoice customers monthly or weekly, in advance, and payment is made by bank transfer.
